Herbal Remedy for Loose Stools.

Phytopet Dry 2, contains a combination of liquid botanical extracts to help with loose runny stools and upset stomach.

Can be combined with Phytopet Tum Ease, for IBS, Crohn's disease, Colitis, upset stomach when changing food, tummy bug, etc...

PhytoPet 2 repopulates gut with good bacteria, small amounts initially and increase dose as diarrhoea reduces. Benefits of this product include: 

  • Herbal support for loose stools, squits and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
  • Fast acting, combination of botanical extracts.
  • Liquid for ease of administration. No fighting to give tablets, just add drops to water, food or treat.
  • Dry 2 is safe to use on puppies, etc.

Very Important: If diarrhoea has not cleared up in three days, or your pet slips in and out of consciousness, or shows signs of dehydration you must seek professional veterinary advice immediately.

 

 

Suggested dose:

 

  • Large dogs - 10-15 drops
  • Medium dogs - 7-10 drops
  • Small dogs & cats, rabbits etc - 5-7 drops
  • Avery birds & poultry - 10-20 drops per 100ml water feeder

 

 

 

Add drops to a teaspoon of boiled cooled water. Add to food or directly to mouth.

 

Acute dose: 3-5 drops every 2-3 hours.

Shepherds Purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris), American Cranesbill (Geranium maculatum), Tormentil (Portentilla erecta), Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis), Oak (Quercus robur), Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum), Cinnamon (Cinnomomum zeylanicum).

Ingredients include:

Shepherds Purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris):

A traditional remedy for urinary tract and bowel disorders, its antiseptic, diuretic and astringent properties makes Shepherds Purse a must in any incontinence and diarrhoea mix.

American Cranesbill (Geranium maculatum):

Herbal specific for incontinence, frequency, enuresis and haematuria (blood in urine). Also due to its astringent properties, very useful for the squits. Its actions are styptic, haemostatic, astringent.

Tormentil (Portentilla erecta):

A good astringent with a traditional use for incontinence and squits. One of the modern herbalist most effective tools for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis):

Useful in a broad spectrum of bacterial, fungal and parasitic infections. Shown to sooth and tone mucus membranes. Specific for 'the squits' especially infectious; and urinary tract infections such as cystitis.

Oak (Quercus robur):

Used in both western and eastern herbal medicine. Renowned for its astringent and properties. Traditionally used for digestive problems, specific for dysentery and diarrhoea. Oak combined with which hazel makes an excellent night time wash to help with broken capillaries. Also useful for treating haemorrhoids.

Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum):

A well known digestive tonic. Used by travellers for settling upset tummies. Specific for 'Deli-Belly' due to its anti-microbial, calming action on the digestive tract.

Cinnamon (Cinnomomum zeylanicum):

Cinnamon’s warming, astringent properties make it useful when treating stomach upsets. Widely used in Ayurvedic medicine for digestive disorders.

Please note:

Phytopet do use alcohol in their tinctures, which is considered one of the best ways to extract the active constituents of the plant and is far superior to glycerine and better absorbed than powders.
 
They only use a miniscule amount, however if you are concerned about the alcohol you can put the drops into a small amount of hot water which will evaporate the alcohol off and allow it to cool then administer.

 Orders over £44.99 (and less than 3.5kg) are sent free of charge using Royal Mail 48 Tracked. There is however the option to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 for £1.49 or use a DPD Courier at £4.99

Orders over £130 will be sent with DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 24 if in the Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland)

Orders over 3.5kg will need to be send with DPD as we are unable to ship heavy items with Royal Mail. DPD will attract an additional shipping charges – see below for more information.

Orders placed after 1.30pm on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday (or Wednesday for UK special postcodes). This also applies to orders received after 1.30pm on a Thursday.
 
Saturdays, Sundays and all Bank & Public Holidays are classed as non-working days and orders will be dispatched on the next working day.
 
Your order will be fully trackable, and you will receive a text and email (if supplied) when your order has been dispatched, and on the day of delivery you will receive an estimated 1-hour delivery window, with alternative options if you are not in.
 
We reserve the right to switch this service to Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day, in exceptional circumstances.
