ESSIAC for Pets is made from Rene Caisse’s Proprietary herbal formula and helps support the immune system and is suitabe for dogs and cats.
The immune system of a dog or cat is as complex as the human immune system. Its purpose is to help keep them healthy. Daily stresses, lifestyle and dietary habits are factors that can impact the immune system.
Essiac for Pets contains the following ingredients:
Burdock Root- used traditionally to help reduce mucus, maintain a healthy gastrointestinal tract, stimulate a healthy immune response, serve as a diuretic for waste retention and sweat out toxins through the skin.
Slippery Elm Bark – contains large amounts of tannins and mucilages which are believed to help dissolve mucus deposits in tissue, glands and nerve channels. The inner bark is rich in calcium, magnesium, and vitamins A,B,C,K.
Sheep Sorrel leaves – used traditionally to help maintain healthy kidneys and urinary functions. It is rich in vitamins and trace minerals and is thought to nourish the glandular system.
Indian Rhubarb Root – used traditionally in small amounts, this herb acts as a gentle laxative and helps purge the liver of toxic build-up and waste. ESSIAC is suitable for dogs and cats only.
Essiac for Pets comes in capsules which are easy and convenient to take and can be given with a small amount of food or broth to help facilitate consumption. ESSIAC for Pets is most effective when taken 1 hour before or after meals.
Suggested amount of capsules daily:
0-23kg: 1 capsule daily twice daily
Over 23kg: 2 capsules twice daily

Burdock Root, Sheep Sorrel leaves, Slippery Elm Bark, Indian Rhubarb Root, Vegetarian magnesium stearate, Maltodextrine, Cellulose. No other ingredients. Gluten, lactose and yeast free.
Active Ingredients per capsule Burdock, powered (root) 180.38mg Sheep sorrel, powdered (leaves) 35.88mg Slippery Elm, powdered (bark) 13.70mg Indian Rhubarb, powdered (root) 6.10mg
Inactive Ingredients: hypromellose (capsule), vegetable magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose.
Gluten, lactose and yeast free.
Consult with your vet before using this product in animals: with clotting disorders; being treated with anticoagulant medication, with diabetes, arthritis, gastro intestinal disorders or any metabolic disorder causing hyperglcemia; with a history of urinary / kidney stones; with known allergies to plants of the Asteraceae / Compositae / Daisy Family; if lameness worsens, discontinue use and contact your vet. Administer before or after the animal has eaten.

- Saturday delivery - with DPD £9.99
Orders over £44.99 (and less than 3.5kg) are sent free of charge using Royal Mail 48 Tracked. There is however the option to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 for £1.49 or use a DPD Courier at £4.99
Orders over £130 will be sent with DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 24 if in the Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland)

Orders over 3.5kg will need to be send with DPD as we are unable to ship heavy items with Royal Mail. DPD will attract an additional shipping charges – see below for more information.
Please be advised that during busier periods, such as Christmas and Black Friday, parcel deliveries may take longer to be delivered.

Under normal circumstances, all orders placed before 1.30pm will be dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after 1.30pm will be dispatched on the following working day. Orders placed after 1.30pm on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday (or Wednesday for UK special postcodes). This also applies to orders received after 1.30pm on a Thursday.
Saturdays, Sundays and all Bank & Public Holidays are classed as non-working days and orders will be dispatched on the next working day.
Your order will be fully trackable, and you will receive a text and email (if supplied) when your order has been dispatched, and on the day of delivery you will receive an estimated 1-hour delivery window, with alternative options if you are not in.
We reserve the right to switch this service to Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day, in exceptional circumstances.
