Scullcap and Valerian Tablets by Dorwest is a licensed herbal medicine used for as a treatment for noise phobias and fears associated with fireworks and thunder as well as for general excitability and hyperactivity. Calms and relaxes your cat or dog without causing drowsiness or anxiety enabling improved concentration.

Also popular for use in travel-related anxiety. Given prior to a journey will calm nervous travellers and is useful where new surroundings or situations might cause apprehension or anxiety.

In cats, this tablet is also effective to control territorial spraying as the tranquilising effect reduces the impulse to mark territory.

This licensed product is also used under veterinary supervision to control epilepsy, often alongside conventional treatments.

Ideal for use in showing, agility, sporting activities or obedience work.

Dorwest Organic Valerian Compound (liquid) is an organically certified liquid supplement providing a quick acting solution to calm frightened, anxious, hyperactive and stressed animals.

Dropped into the mouth, given on food or even a few drops sprinkled on a pet's bedding can result in a more amenable pet, so that trips to the vet, travelling or moving house become instantly less stressful situations. Cats particularly love the smell of Valerian Compound.

The concentrated herbal extracts used in this liquid ensure that within 30 minutes a noticeable change in behaviour occurs without causing drowsiness and the effects last around two hours.

For situations that have a longer duration it is recommend also giving Scullcap and Valerian Tablets.

Additional Information - Dorwest Scullcap & Valerian Tablets

Administration: 1-2 tablets per 5kgs bodyweight daily, ideally given as two split doses, depending on the severity of the condition. For use on singular occasions, give 12 hours and 2 hours before event using the higher dosage rate

Use during pregnancy and lactation: Not recommended

Age from which can be used: 8 weeks of age

Interactions: Can be given in conjunction with any other medication

Long or short term use: Both as the condition requires

Special warning: Epilepsy should only be treated in consultation with a veterinary surgeon
