What role do omegas have in the body?
OMEGA 3 FATTY ACIDS: Omega 3’s are essential; and therefore, must come from your pet’s diet. DHA & EPA are found in marine sources like cold water fatty fish. EPA & DHA help strong immune, cardiovascular & nervous system function, healthy joints, and skin & coat health. ALA comes from plant sources and supports skin & coat health, but it is not as bioavailable as DHA & EPA for pets.
OMEGA 6 FATTY ACIDS: Omega 6’s are also essential fatty acids that support healthy cell function. However, an elevated Omega-6 content may trigger inflammation in your pet’s body.
How do Grizzly’s Omega oils differ from other omega supplements?
Grizzly’s omega fish oils use 100% wild-caught fish, which contain significantly higher omega-3s than farmed fish. This is because farmed fish diets can include up to 15% vegetable oil (omega-6s). Catching wild is also a more environmentally sustainable sourcing practice than farming, which releases waste and chemicals, like antibiotics, spawning hormones and algicides, negatively impacting native populations, the ocean, and the surrounding environment. Some omega supplements feature only plant-based oils rich in ALA Omega 3 Fatty Acids. ALA is not as nutritionally available as EPA and DHA, requiring a 3-step conversion process in your pet’s digestive system. Aside from fresh seaweed, plant foods rarely contain EPA or DHA. Grizzly uses only wild fish in the EPA & DHA in our omega supplements to support your pet’s long-term health and wellbeing.

Why should I supplement my dog or cat’s food with Grizzly Fish Oil™?: Daily supplements of Grizzly Fish Oil™ helps support your pet’s overall health—including skin and coat, immune system, heart, cognition, fertility, vision, and other nerve-based functions.
Can my puppy or kitten use Fish Oil?: Starting puppies and kittens out with a healthy balance of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids is a great way to ensure proper nutrition, which can contribute to a healthy life. We recommend using approximately one-half of the smallest dosage (indicated on the bottle label) on your puppy’s or kitten’s food every day. You may want to ask your veterinarian about specific dosages.
How many pumps are in my bottle?: It will depend on the size of bottle that you purchase. Here are approximate numbers:
4 oz. bottle = 57 pumps
8 oz. bottle = 114 pumps
16 oz. bottle = 133 pumps
32 oz. bottle = 267 pumps
64 oz. bottle = 534 pumps
What is the shelf life of the oil? Once I open the bottle, do I have to use it all in a specific amount of time? Should I refrigerate the oil?
Bottles can be stored away from sunlight at room temperature, or you can refrigerate if desired. Unopened, our oil is good for at least 20 months. Opened bottles should be used within 90 days of opening.

Orders over £44.99 (and less than 3.5kg) are sent free of charge using Royal Mail 48 Tracked. There is however the option to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 for £1.49 or use a DPD Courier at £4.99

Orders over 3.5kg will need to be send with DPD as we are unable to ship heavy items with Royal Mail. DPD will attract an additional shipping charges – see below for more information.

Your order will be fully trackable, and you will receive a text and email (if supplied) when your order has been dispatched, and on the day of delivery you will receive an estimated 1-hour delivery window, with alternative options if you are not in.
We reserve the right to switch this service to Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day, in exceptional circumstances.
