Ancol Shedding Blade for dogs - Strips loose and dead hair from your dog's coat

The blade has shallow, spiked teeth but does not include a razor.
To use the blade, gently brush the hair in the direction of the fur growth. The teeth of the blade pull away loose hairs. The blade can be opened up by pulling both sides of the handle in opposing directions. Use when closed for small dogs or smaller areas on the dog's body, or opened up to remove loose hairs from larger areas such as down the dog's back.
To ensure your dog has an enjoyable grooming session, start gently.
If you dog enjoys grooming, more pressure can be applied to remove more fur. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated.
Grooming tips: Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly.
Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercised.
Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming.

- Shipping with Royal Mail Tracked 48 (typically 2 days but can take 4 days) at £3.49
- Shipping with Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-2 days) at £4.99.
- Shipping with DPD Next Day Courier service at £7.99 [see below for exceptions] (please note this is a next day service, but from time to time this can take 2 days)
- Saturday delivery - with DPD £9.99
Orders over £44.99 (and less than 3.5kg) are sent free of charge using Royal Mail 48 Tracked. There is however the option to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 for £1.49 or use a DPD Courier at £4.99
Orders over £130 will be sent with DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 24 if in the Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland)
Click & Collect - free You are welcome to collect your order from our offices at Northwich, Cheshire (CW9 7TN). Office hours are typically 9.00 – 4.30 but often we are here later, so it is recommended to ring ahead. Tel: 01565 745463.
Orders over 3.5kg will need to be send with DPD as we are unable to ship heavy items with Royal Mail. DPD will attract an additional shipping charges – see below for more information.
Please be advised that during busier periods, such as Christmas and Black Friday, parcel deliveries may take longer to be delivered.

General Rules for DPD
Under normal circumstances, all orders placed before 1.30pm will be dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after 1.30pm will be dispatched on the following working day. Orders placed after 1.30pm on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday (or Wednesday for UK special postcodes). This also applies to orders received after 1.30pm on a Thursday.
Saturdays, Sundays and all Bank & Public Holidays are classed as non-working days and orders will be dispatched on the next working day.
Your order will be fully trackable, and you will receive a text and email (if supplied) when your order has been dispatched, and on the day of delivery you will receive an estimated 1-hour delivery window, with alternative options if you are not in.
We reserve the right to switch this service to Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day, in exceptional circumstances.
