Riaflex Canine Boswellia Serrata Powder for Dogs (65% Boswellic acid) 150g
Used for soothing sore stiff joints and muscles, Boswellia is a natural product that is safe for long term use. Riaflex uses a potent 65% Boswellic Acid content to provide the best possible comfort.
It is important to note that many companies do not disclose their Boswellic Acid content because it is very low. Riaflex contain 65% Boswellic Acids. Many other companies when you enquire contain just 1-15%.
Commonly known as Frankincense, Boswellia contains Boswellic acid, which has well known joint support and comfort properties and has also been shown to help maintain the structural integrity of connective tissues. It has also been shown to soothe digestive issues, can help to firm loose droppings, and is thought to support the respiratory system.
The mechanism of anti-inflammatory activity of the Boswellia extract is due to the boswellic acids, which are the active component of Frankincense. Riaflex contains 65% Boswellic acids. The chemical structure of boswellic acids closely resembles that of steroids, but their actions are different from prescription meds or NSAIDs. It is believed they help to maintain a healthy level of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) activity, which in turn helps to inhibit inflammation.

Suggested Intake (1 x 2.5ml Scoop provides 2g Boswellia)
Size of Dog
Up to 15kgs - ½ x 2.5ml scoop [1000mg] (up to a 3½ month supply)
15 - 40 kgs - 1x 2.5ml scoop [2000mg] (up to 2½ month supply)
40 kgs+ - 1½ x 2.5ml scoop [3000mg] (up to a 1½ month supply)
Levels can be increased by 1/2 scoop or more per weight in each weight category for dogs who require extra support. Ideally the daily level should be split between 2 meals.
Mix thoroughly with damp food.
Store in a cool, dry place.

Orders over £44.99 (and less than 3.5kg) are sent free of charge using Royal Mail 48 Tracked. There is however the option to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 for £1.49 or use a DPD Courier at £4.99
Orders over £130 will be sent with DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 24 if in the Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland)

Orders over 3.5kg will need to be send with DPD as we are unable to ship heavy items with Royal Mail. DPD will attract an additional shipping charges – see below for more information.

This also applies to orders received after 1.30pm on a Thursday.
Saturdays, Sundays and all Bank & Public Holidays are classed as non-working days and orders will be dispatched on the next working day.
Your order will be fully trackable, and you will receive a text and email (if supplied) when your order has been dispatched, and on the day of delivery you will receive an estimated 1-hour delivery window, with alternative options if you are not in.
We reserve the right to switch this service to Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day, in exceptional circumstances.
