4-Legger's unscented hypoallergenic dog shampoo is so natural it is Certified to USDA Organic Food Standards!
Made with organic oils and organic aloe vera, our hypoallergenic dog shampoo it is recommended if your dog (or you) has very sensitive skin, allergy sensitivities, aroma sensitivities, or you want to add your own essential oils.
This ultra gentle formulation aloe dog shampoo will clean and moisturise your dog with organic oils and soothing organic aloe vera without stripping the natural oils from your dog's coat.
Note: Our holistic veterinarians love this formulation as they can add their own essential oils to treat various conditions with their pet patients. Please use care when adding essential oils and do not attempt without a thorough understanding of essential oils and their properties. 4-Legger is not responsible for altered formulations or adverse reactions for the use of essential oils without proper training.
It is recommended working with a holistic veterinarian who can advise you on the proper dilution of essential oils.
Ingredients
Coconut Oil: Extremely hydrating, a great moisturizer which helps to provide a protective layer, retaining moisture in the skin while allowing the skin to breathe. As a mild oil, it is very good for inflamed or irritated skin, and on dogs with skin sensitivities.
Olive Oil: Rich in vitamins, minerals, natural fatty acids, and antioxidants. Known for its ability to nourish, rejuvenate, and protect the skin.
Jojoba Oil: A great cleanser and an excellent moisturiser. Jojoba also contains fatty acids that help to rejuvenate and restore dry skin.
Aloe Vera: Aloe has long been known as a natural healer - good for skin and hair/fur. Aloe is used to treat a variety of skin conditions from flaky or dry skin, to burns, minor skin infections, and more. It acts as a natural conditioner to make the hair/fur look shinier, glossier, and healthier.
Rosemary Extract: A very powerful antioxidant that is used as a natural preservative with anti-inflammatory properties.
Please note that natural shampoos behave differently to typical commercial pet shampoos, in that the consistency of the product is more runny and doesn't lather in the same way. You may have a transition period whilst your dog's coat adapts as the synthetic ingredients are removed from your dogs coat. 4-Legger get a lot of questions about what isn't in 4-Legger! The simple answer is all the bad stuff you find in traditional dog shampoo!
Here are some highlights:

Directions for Use
- Shake bottle.
- Wet your dog with warm water from head to the end of their tail.
- Librally apply shampoo and work into lather
- Gently massage deeply into your pet's coat.
- Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear.
A few tips if you are new to organic dog shampoo:
- Your dog will likely go through a perfectly normal transition period. Don't worry!
- To increase the lather, use more water - not shampoo.
- Consider adding a foamer bottle! It will help you manage the thin consistency by infusing air into the shampoo, as well as keep you from using more than is needed to wash your dog.
- Note: Keep out of your pet's eyes. To wash your pet's face - use a wash cloth.
Want to talk science? No problem. Here is how our product is made: Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera), Olive Oil (Olea europaea) and Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis) is mixed with water and potassium hydroxide under heat in a large kettle. The result of that reaction is Saponified oils of coconut (Potassium cocoate), olive (Potassium olivate), jojoba (Potassium jojobate) and glycerine. The water evaporates off and the glycerine is mixed back in while the potassium hydroxide was used to saponify the oils and is no longer detectable. The organic aloe (Aloe barbadensis Leaf Juice) and Rosemary Extract (Rosmarinus officinalis) are added.

We always aim to dipatch orders as quickly as possible. Orders received before 3.30pm (1.30pm cut off for Courier deliveries) will be dispatched the same day. An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Using Royal Mail “Send and Item with Click & Drop” is an option, as this enables you to have your order collected from your house. Further details can be found here: https://send.royalmail.com/

Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
