Probiotics, or “friendly” bacteria, are the gut’s defense system against “bad” or dangerous disease-causing bacteria. Prebiotics serve as a fertilizer so the gut can grow a bountiful amount of this friendly bacteria leading to wonderful health benefits such as promoting gut & digestive health, supporting ear and skin health as well as supporting your pets overal dental health.

Larch Arabinogalactan: Prebiotic Larch Arabinogalactan is a larch tree extract that supports colon health. It also known for stimulating the immune system. It is also commonly used for infections.

We always aim to dipatch orders as quickly as possible. Orders received before 3.30pm (1.30pm cut off for Courier deliveries) will be dispatched the same day. An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
Why does my pet need a pre and probiotic?: The latest research in human and animal health points to the gut being responsible for more than 80% of their immune system! The main component of a healthy gut is the friendly bacteria that live there (probiotics). Adding probiotics can help to rebalance the gut and replace any good bacteria that may have been lost through stress or antibiotics. They are the gatekeepers that stop intruders and keep the mucosal lining healthy so the body receives its vital nutrition.
These “good soldiers” need to be able to have the proper fertilisation in order to set up a colony and continue to produce and repopulate.
Probiotics are not nearly as successful at reproducing and flourishing without the help of a prebiotic.
Will giving a probiotic cause any intestinal discomfort?: No! In fact, it is quite the opposite – pre and probiotics for dogs should support the natural digestion process and help to derail bad bacteria that’s often the leading cause of intestinal upset.
What if this probiotic does not agree with my pet?: Every pet's gut microbiome is unique, so while most pets tolerate probiotics very well, no supplement is suitable for every animal. Occasionally, a pet may not tolerate a particular probiotic strain or blend, particularly if there is an underlying digestive imbalance. We recommend introducing any probiotic gradually, starting with a very small amount and slowly increasing to the recommended serving to allow your pet's digestive system time to adjust. If your pet develops digestive upset or any other unwanted symptoms, discontinue use and seek advice from your veterinarian. A reaction to one probiotic does not necessarily mean your pet won't tolerate another, as different products contain different strains and strengths.
Does this need to be refrigerated after opening?: Love Bugs is freeze-dried, so while refrigeration is not necessary, Adored Beast believe it will help to maintain optimal freshness once the container is opened.
How long will this product last once opened? Once opened the product should be good until the expiry date, but this willl depend on the humidity around and the more you open the jar, the more moisture absorption it will get. You are good to use it until you see the changing in appearance or smell of the product, that is when probiotics absorb enough moisture and it starts to activate.
Should there be a seal between the lid and the powder? Adored Beast do have a pressure seal that is put into the lid but it's not heat sealed to the rim, it's meant to keep moisture out. There is a security sea, that is the shrink wrapped on the outside. All their probiotics are freeze dried purposefully so they remain shelf stable so unless they are moisturized, they would be fine. Please keep the pouch in the tub to help maintain it freshness.
Adored Beast Apothecary recommend starting on the lower side of the recommended daily intake and to continue this for 1-2 weeks, gradually working up to the full recommended daily intake. Every animal is unique. When adding a new supplement to your pet's regime, consider keeping a journal of changes.
