It is 100% vegan, unscented, fast-absorbing and natural. The balm can be used in the summer months to help protect the snout and outer ear areas from UVA and UVB rays, as well as any exposed skin; and in the winter period to protect a dog’s soft pads on ice and salted pavements. Botanical ingredients work together to effectively moisturise and protect soft pads, noses and skin, and uniquely provides sun protection. Hemp by HOWND contains a generous inclusion of Organic Hemp Seed Oil – one of the world’s richest known sources of Omega 3 and Omega 6 Essential Fatty Acids – vital for optimal health of the skin. We’ve sourced this extraordinary ingredient from one of Europe’s leading organic hemp farms that has GMP (Good Manufacturing and Practice), as well as Organic certification.
Other ingredients include Candelilla wax (a vegan alternative to Beeswax); Calendula, which has skin -soothing properties; Sweet Almond Oil; Shea Butter; Vitamin E & SPF.
Hownd Skin Nose & Paw balm has added UV filters and provides up to 8% protection from UVB & UVA rays. It provides a level of protection from harmful sun rays. It is not a total sunblock, so it is advised to when possible keep your dog out of direct sun in hot weather. It’s main purpose is to soothe, moisturise and protect paw pads, noses and outer ears or any exposed skin, and can be used therefore in the winter and summer months.

An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
