Dental Hygiene from Hedgerow Hounds is a canine dental blend to assist in removing plaque and tartar, improving overall oral health & freshening the breath.
This dental hygiene formula for dogs has been created to clean tartar and plaque from the teeth and to improve the overall health and hygiene of the mouth and gums. Although this blend’s main aim is to improve oral health, there are so many benefits to feeding this supplement for improving all aspects of health and optimal wellbeing.
With Organic Fucus Seaweed, Oregano, Fennel.
How Much to Give (introduce gradually over 5 days)
Dogs under 10kg - A generous pinch of the powder
Dogs 10-22kg - Quarter teaspoon approx. 1g
Dogs 23-39 kg - Half a teaspoon approx. 2g
Dogs 40+kg - One-level teaspoon approx. 3g
This is the daily amount, not per meal, although it can be divided between the second meal of the day. Use for seven days a week for 15 weeks.
For maintenance drop down to feeding the blend 4 days a week or what you find to be effective for your dog.
If your dog already has clean healthy teeth and you want to keep it that way, then please read the blog for suggestions on what amount to give for maintenance.
For faster tartare removal add abrasive natural chews or size-appropriate raw bones.
**Caution: Do not feed to dogs with hyperthyroid issues or pregnant and lactating females.

The ingredients of these nutritive blends have been carefully selected with the help of a holistic vet to help nourish, soothe and support the good health and vitality of your dog.
The herbs are perfect for stirring into raw, home cooked or moist food or they can be re- hydrated with a little hot water to be added to dry food. With some of the herbal blends you can also make a nutritious tea which can be poured onto the meals, blended with vegetables or used in treat recipes. Herbs act in a gentle way allowing the body to take what it needs but easily excrete what it doesn`t at that particular time.

Guidance - how to use
Refer to the bag for details. Introduce slowly. Allow up to six weeks for the herbs to get into the dog’s system and work their magic.
Stir into raw or moist dog meals, rehydrate with water and mix into dry food.
Suggested daily amount for TLC Blend:
- Small dogs (under 15kg) quarter teaspoon twice daily
- Medium dogs (16-35kg) half a teaspoon twice daily
- Large dogs (40+kg) one level teaspoon twice daily
To store, please reseal bag and store out of direct sunlight.
If your dog is pregnant, on medication or under 10 weeks of age, check with your vet before use.
This is a complimentary feed supplement and shouldn't be used instead of seeking advice from a vet. If any adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use.

An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
