The pressure of everyday life means that we now tend to be more anxious and stressed, which our dogs can pick up on very easily. There are also more dogs being re-homed in the UK and from abroad of which a large percentage have anxiety and behavioural issues. Common triggers can be loud noises or being separated from their owners and cause signs of aggression towards other people or dogs or being destructive in the home. Working dogs (those who compete in agility, flyball or gaming sports) can also feel the pressure and may get anxious before a competition or not travel well in the lead up to an event.
Proflax Calm & Collected is a premium 100% natural holistic superfood supplement that will help your dog to keep calm and relaxed. Used by behaviourists it helps to reduce anxiety and aid focus and concentration when training or competing.
The 8 high strength active herbs in this blend are Skullcap, Withania, Chamomile, Astralagus, Gotu Kola, Ginger, Turmeric and Liquorice. These are natural calming herbs that are powerful and effective and won't cause drowsiness. Some of the herbs also aid recovery and give extra support of the bones, joints and circulation which help after competing.
Flaxseed oil also helps to maintain the overall good health of the heart, digestive, immune and reproductive systems and balance metabolism. The active ingredients provide nutritional support; vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients.
Calm & Collected contains 4 adaptogens which are a unique class of healing herbs that help to balance, restore and protect the body both physically and emotionally. The herbs in this formula have been selected by a holistic vet to work in synergy so that their healing power and every ounce of nutrition is absorbed efficiently. Visible change can be seen in as little as 7 days in some dogs.

Skullcap (lateriflora): A ‘nervine’ herb which means it helps to relax the nervous system and reduce anxiety. Will not sedate or cause drowsiness. Contains fantastic antioxidant properties. A natural analgesic. Detoxifying. Keeps the heart healthy.
Withania: An adaptogenic herb that supports flexibility/mobility and has a relaxing and calming effect. A great muscle relaxant. Reduces inflammation and is a powerful anti-oxidant. Regulates the immune system. Has hematopoietic properties (positive effect on blood cells). Contains sodium and iron.
Chamomile: A powerful relaxing, calming & soothing herb. Aids digestion, strengthens muscle tissues and reduces inflammation. Has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. A good source of zinc, iron, and selenium.
Astragalus: An adaptogenic herb that supports good energy and stamina, helps with mental clarity, aids metabolism and healing. Strengthens the immune system and has anti-viral and anti-diabetic properties. Also reduces inflammation. Contains flavonoids and polysaccharides.
Turmeric: Contains a mix of phenolics known as curcumin which helps to reduce inflammation and is an anti-parasitic. A rich source of vitamin C, calcium, iron, niacin, potassium and zinc and a powerful anti-oxidant. Also helps to aid digestion, maintain cardio function and cleanse.
Gotu Kola: This power house adaptogenic herb cleanses, aids circulation and collagen production, supports a healthy nervous system and protects veins and blood vessels. Packed with calcium, manganese, potassium, selenium, zinc, vitamins C and B.
Ginger: Promotes good circulation and has been known to reduce high blood pressure. Reduces inflammation and helps keep the most joints strong. Aids bone density. Reduces cholesterol and blood pressure. Contains vitamins B5 and B6, potassium and manganese.
DIRECTIONS
Shake well and pour over regular food (whether raw, wet or dry) daily. This product is fast acting. All ingredients are active and created to work in synergy. Health benefits can be seen in as little as 7-10 days.
Feed once daily or every other day depending on the level of support required. Add to raw, wet or dry food. Feed 1ml to every 2kg of dogs weight once daily, either morning or evening. For immediate relief, increase to 2ml to every 2kg of dogs weight for 7 days and then revert to 1ml to every 2kg of dogs weight daily. For preventative healthcare, feed every 1ml to every 2kg of dogs weight every other day.
Independently tested by a UK DEFRA approved laboratory for purity giving an 18 month shelf life prior to the opening and a further 8 weeks once opened. Store in fridge or cool dark place to maintain freshness.
Cold pressed flax oil with active herbal formula consists of: Skullcap, Withania, Chamomile, Astralagus, Gotu Kola, Ginger, Turmeric and Liquorice.
For all of Proflax's oil based products, be sure to shake the bottle vigorously for at least 10 seconds before every use to ensure that the ingredients are well mixed. After opening, please store your bottle of oil in the fridge to keep the ingredients fresh.
How much do I feed?
There are various ways to feed Proflax depending on the level of support your dog requires.
Their recommended feeding guide is to give 1ml to every 2kg of your dogs weight, daily (25kg dog would be 12.5ml). You can also double the amount for immediate support, so feed 1ml to every 1kg of dogs weight (25kg dog would be 25ml) for a maximum of 7 days and then revert to the recommended feeding guide.
It is recommended that if you are feeding the same Proflax supplement daily that you take a short break period of 10 -14 days every three months. During this period you can stop feeding Proflax altogether or you can choose one of their other products to feed. This is their recommendation so that your dog gets the very best out of our products if used long term, however there are no adverse health effects if a product is fed continuously. If feeding 2 or more products in rotation, a break period is not necessary.
Proflax formulas work quickly as they are in their natural, active and concentrated state.
For puppies over 8 weeks, ensure that you are feeding the correct amount according to your puppies size. Weigh them on a regular basis until your dog’s full maturity is reached.
Ideal for dogs requiring gentle calming support and added focus & concentration. Suitable for all breeds.
For dogs requiring a higher level of calming support (extra nervous, reactive, noise sensitive or have severe behavioural/socialisation issues) try Proflax Omega Calm
Not recommended for pregnant/nursing dogs or puppies under the age of 8 weeks old. Not to be used if your dog is known to be allergic/reactive to any of the ingredients listed or if your dog is taking blood thinning medication (anticoagulants) /blood modulators. For dogs pre operation stop feeding 5 days prior to anaesthetic. Please check with your own vet first if your dog is taking any medication as herbs can sometimes affect the absorption of certain drugs.

An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
