Why is fat important for dogs?

Fat is an essential part of a balanced canine diet. It provides:

  • A concentrated source of energy for active and working dogs
  • Support for healthy skin and a glossy coat
  • Essential fatty acids that contribute to normal body function
  • Improved absorption of fat-soluble vitamins including vitamins A, D, E and K
  • Enhanced flavour, making meals more appealing for fussy eaters

Dogs naturally use fat as an important energy source, making it a valuable addition to many raw, home-cooked and dry food diets when fed in moderation.

Why choose Boil and Broth?

  • Made from 100% British Beef Fat
  • Produced from the fat naturally separated during our traditional bone broth process
  • 100% natural
  • No preservatives or fillers
  • Handmade in Dorset, UK

About Boil & Broth

Boil and Broth specialise in making bone broth for dogs and they are the only UK bone broth manufacturer to obtain a dual food license to produce broth for the human and pet feed market.

Rachel started Boil and Broth back in 2018 after seeing the demand for the products she was making. Rachel herself had health issues and she researched a lot about her condition and finally developed my her own diet, as well as making broth and kefir water to help. Within 12 weeks she had reversed her condition.

Rachel has grown her small family business from selling a few orders a week to establishing a great business on a private farm selling her products to people all over the country, including the pet side of the business.

All their broth is made using locally Dorset sourced organic, grass-fed animals. They add no vegetables or seasoning, which means that their broth is higher in protein, because they use more bones. This makes this broth an excellent addition to your dog’s diet and they will love you for it too.
