Ingredients
Proprietary probiotic blend : BFF is veterinarian formulated blend of 13 probiotic strains with a large 50 billion CFU daily for large dogs. Each probiotic strain is carefully chosen for its ability to survive the stomach acid and support the canine gut. Plus, Four Leaf Rover have added Saccharomyces boulardii, a probiotic yeast that's well known for its ability to support a dogs gut health after antibiotics.
FOS (fructooligosaccharides): Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are short-chain fructose molecules that function as prebiotics, supporting the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut, such as Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli, which are needed for maintaining a healthy digestive system. FOS can support mineral absorption, particularly calcium and magnesium.
Organic inulin from organic Jerusalem artichoke: Inulin is a type of soluble fibre that acts as a prebiotic that helps to grow beneficial gut bacteria, thereby supporting overall digestive health. FOS can also enhance nutrient absorption.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to put BFF in the fridge?: If you can keep BFF in the fridge after opening, it will help the probiotics live longer. If not refrigerated, just be sure to use the jar within 30 days or so.
Can I give my dog BFF if he has digestive upset?:The bacteria strains in BFF are hand-picked and veterinarian formulated to help maintain proper gut flora and help with occasional digestive distress. If the digestive upset continues the consult your vet.
What’s the difference between BFF and Protect?: Protect is a soil-based probiotic that is ideal for daily use to support gut health. In addition to soil-based probiotics it also has added ingredients such as clay, blueberry powder, humic and Fulvic acid etc. Bifido For Fido is formulated blend of 13 probiotic strains as well as prebiotics supporting your dogs gut flora and gut health. It can also be used for the occasional digestive issues when you dog may have eaten something that hasnt agreed with him and needs some immediate support.
Use BFF for up to 3 months at a time and then switch to Protect for longer term use / maintenance.
Can BFF be taken with Protect? No, you would want to use BFF first for a max of 60 days, then switch to Protect for long-term maintenance.
What’s FOS and why is it in BFF?: FOS or fructooligosaccharide is a healthy prebiotic that keeps the bacteria colonies fed and healthy. In addition to FOS, BFF contains inulin from organic artichoke hearts, which is another healthy prebiotic.
Can I give BFF to my dog long-term? : Four Leaf Rover recommend not using BFF for long-term use and suggest using Protect on a daily basis.
Can I give BFF if my dog is on antibiotics?: If your dog is on medication, a good choice would be Saccharomyces boulardii (unless your veterinarian says otherwise). S. boulardii is considered to be probiotic because it benefits the gut and immune system like other friendly bacteria. But S. boulardii is actually a healthy yeast, not a bacterium. As a probiotic yeast, S. boulardii is much hardier than most probiotics and is more resistent. less susceptible to gut-stressing drugs and chemicals than probiotic bacteria are.

An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
