It’s heart-breaking to see an older dog struggling to get to its feet and not be able to go on its walks. At night, they may scrabble ineffectively to rise, becoming agitated and soiling themselves in the process.
These dogs may be suffering from diminished circulation to their spinal column that gets even worse in cold wet weather and especially at night, when they often wake their owners with their panting and pacing just to get the blood flowing through their aching joints. Some dogs even wake screaming at night if the stiffness has progressed to neck vertebrae fixations and spasms.
These dogs need increased circulation to halt the degeneration and to restore suppleness. Physical therapies recommended by your Vet, like acupuncture, chiropractic and PEMF along with a real food diet help greatly to improve blood flow to the spine and so do formulas like Lumbrex, which has been used for these purposes for over 1400 years.
Once the maximum benefit of Lumbrex is seen, consider adding Voltrex to spark fruther improvements.
Voltrex is an organically grown concentrated herbal extract in powdered form. Voltrex acts more quickly and completely if your pet is fed a real food meat- and vegetable-based diet.
Usage
To use, just fold the herbs into your pet's food, or shake them up with broth or water and pour them over top.
Give twice daily as follows:
- Up to 15 lbs (6.8 kg) ............................. 1/8 US tsp
- 15-40 lbs (6.8 kg - 18.14 kg) .................1/4 US tsp
- 40 to 70 lbs (18.14kg - 31.75 kg)........... 1/2 US tsp
- 70-110 lbs (31.75kg - 49 kg).................. 3/4 US tsp
- Over 110 lbs (>49kg)...............................1 US tsp
A US teaspoon is slightly smaller than a UK one. Serving Size: 1/4 US teaspoon of Lumbrex = 1g
FAQ- If I want to give both Lumbrex & Voltrex to my dog which should I give first?
If one of the formulas seems a better fit (given the online description) than the other, start with that one. Once maximum benefits have been seen, add the second one and use both together. Once any additional benefits are maximal, you can then see if you lower the amount of the first formula whether those benefits are still maintained. You may even be able to discontinue the formula for a while. Find the amount that works for your dig or refer to a vet if necessary.
If I am taking both Lumbrex and Voltrex does it matter how they are taken? They can be given simultaneously, or split up with one given in the evening (maybe Lumbrex) and one in the morning (Voltrex).

Please note:
- We do not work at weekends, so orders received after the cut off times on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday (There will be special arrangements for Public Holidays when orders will be dispatched on the next working day).

- Once we have received an order it will not be possible to cancel your order, however please contact us and we will see what we can do.
- If in the unusual situation there is a problem with your order, such as a stock error or an issue with delivery, we will make contact with you to discuss options.

An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Using Royal Mail “Send and Item with Click & Drop” is an option, as this enables you to have your order collected from your house. Further details can be found here: https://send.royalmail.com/

Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
