Adored Beast Apothecary recommend starting on the lower side of the recommended daily intake and to continue this for 1-2 weeks, gradually working up to the full recommended daily intake. Ingredient Information
Taraxacum officinalis (Dandelion Root)
Dandelions have been found to be some of the oldest and most nutritious plants on the planet.
Dandelion root supports bile secretion and healthy digestion, promotes healthy liver function, and may help fight inflammation.
Dandelion is highly nutritious and full of antioxidants, and supports the removal of toxins from the body. Rich in potassium, dandelion has been found to be supportive for hepatic and digestive complaints, as well as general constipation.
Chelidonium majus (Greater Celandine)
Chelidonium possesses many active properties including isoquinoline alkaloids, chelidonine, proteolytic enzymes, sanguinarine, chelidoxanthine, flavonoids, and phenolic acids.
Chelidonium has an affinity for the liver and gallbladder, and has a long history of use with disorders of the liver, spleen, gallbladder, kidney, intestine as well as problems related to the lungs.
Chelidonium has been shown to support bile production, which helps with digestion, specifically by breaking down fat and facilitating toxin removal.
Silybum marianum (Milk Thistle)
This plant can protect the liver from the effects of heavy metals and drugs, and provide support in detoxification after exposure to solvents, pesticides, bacteria from food poisoning, and other toxins.
Milk thistle works to stabilize liver cell membranes and acts as an antioxidant to protect liver cells from free radical damage. It also helps regenerate healthy liver cells and boosts the organ's ability to filter toxins from the blood.
Berberis vulgaris (Barberry)
Barberry, which contains berberine, helps inhibit the growth of bacteria and other disease-causing organisms. It helps in boosting the body's immune system as well.
It helps in detoxifying as well as stimulating the liver, improving function. Barberry is commonly used for gastritis, ulcers, and ulcerative bowel problems.
In problems like renal colic, barberry helps in easing the soreness and burning caused by this condition.
It contains powerful astringent properties that help kill negative intestinal bacteria.

Can be given during mealtime. Administer twice per day according to your pet’s weight. Use until the bottle is finished.

Storage Instructions: Refrigerate after opening.
Can be used daily for ongoing issues, such as high liver enzymes, or 2-3 times per year for maintenance to help support normal function and health of the liver, kidneys, pancreas, and gallbladder. When giving for maintenance, for dogs and cats under 6lbs, use half the bottle (at the recommended daily amounts). For others, use the whole bottle (at the recommended daily amounts).
Instructions For Chronic and Symptomatic Animals
Can be used for longer than 60 days for dogs with elevated liver enzymes or other chronic conditions. Consult your veterinarian. In chronic cases where symptoms do not begin to improve within 10 days, it is best to consult your veterinarian.
Glass droppers can break if bitten. Do not put the dropper directly in your animal’s mouth.
Cautions: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
Warnings: Not for human consumption. Do not use if safety seal is broken. For use in cats and dogs only. Keep out of reach of children and animals for which this product is not intended. An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
Will this "detox" my pet?
It will help to support your animal’s liver, kidneys, gallbladder, and pancreas. All of these organs are paramount in the detoxification process so by supporting them, it helps those organs to detoxify in a healthy way. Adored Beast have seen great results in helping the liver to work at detoxifying against drugs and chemicals. For example, antibiotics, steroids, NSAIDs, and flea and tick meds.
Will my pet experience uncomfortable side effects
The wonderful thing about this product is that it is so gentle yet so effective. We have not had any experience with any animals feeling uncomfortable. In fact, it is the opposite! Often the animal will feel so much better because the are gently and correctly detoxifying!
Will this interfere with other liver medications?
We have used it for years with animals that are on all kinds of liver medications but it is ALWAYS best to check with your veterinarian if your animal is on any medication.
