What is the difference between Gut Soothe and Healthy Gut?: Both products have the same base - the pre and probiotic blend that makes up Love Bugs.
Gut Soothe has added soothing herbs which can soothe the mucosal lining. Healthy Gut has the added digestive enzyme components.
Do I have to use this for the rest of my pet's life?: No, Healthy Gut is used to help the body to correctly digest food and to add pre and probiotics. It is best used in rotation with Gut Soothe and Love Bugs to give a comprehensive balanced gut health care plan. We do have customers who feel their animals do better when they use Healthy Gut ongoing. This could be because the animals have a compromised ability to produce the proper amounts of their own digestive enzymes.
Can this be used for cats?: It is excellent for cats and can help cats who lick their fur, as part of their grooming regime. Please see amount to give.
Can I use this if I feed dry food?:You absolutely can! If feeding commercial kibble or processed food of any kind, adding digestive enzymes will encourage the digestion of more of the nutrients in the food. It will help the body “break down” the dry food and help with nutrient absorption. You may notice reduced stool volume which would be an indication of more of the food being used by the body.
Does this need to be refrigerated after opening?:The product is freeze-dried, so while refrigeration is not necessary, we believe it will help to maintain optimal freshness.
How long will this product last once opened? Once opened the product should be good until the expiry date, but this willl depend on the humidity around and the more you open the jar, the more moisture absorption it will get. You are good to use it until you see the changing in appearance or smell of the product, that is when probiotics absorb enough moisture and it starts to activate.
Should there be a seal between the lid and the powder? Adored Beast do have a pressure seal that is put into the lid but it's not heat sealed to the rim, it's meant to keep moisture out. There is a security sea, that is the shrink wrapped on the outside. All their probiotics are freeze dried purposefully so they remain shelf stable so unless they are moisturized, they would be fine. Please keep the pouch in the tub to help maintain it freshness.
Does this expire?:Yes, please check the bottom of the jar for the best before date.
Adored Beast Apothecary recommend starting on the lower side of the recommended daily intake and to continue this for 1-2 weeks, gradually working up to the full recommended daily intake. Every animal is unique. When adding a new supplement to your pet's regime, consider keeping a journal of changes.

We always aim to dipatch orders as quickly as possible. Orders received before 3.30pm (1.30pm cut off for Courier deliveries) will be dispatched the same day. An overview of our shipping options with typical delivery timescales are detailed below. Please be mindful that during peak times delays may occur. We also cannot accept responsibility for late deliveries due to unforseen circumstances outside of our control.

An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
